01/26/2023 PDSD Application Completeness Express REQUIRES RESUBMIT If there is not an existing Certificate of Occupancy for the suite and/or the proposed use of the suite differs from the previous use (change of use per the building code), a new Certificate of Occupancy would be required. A new CofO submittal should include a site plan, floor plan, code analysis, and egress plan prepared by and stamped by an Arizona registered architect or engineer.
From a building perspective we review the documents to ensure the proposed use meets the life/safety requirements of the adopted building code as does Tucson Fire. The zoning section will review the documents to ensure the proposed use is allowable and meets the requirements of the adopted zoning code.
