Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide structural drawings and calculations that are signed by a state of Arizona structural engineer, not a civil engineer. 2. Update the plans to show the “ramp” configuration next to the foundation S2.00 it does not match the other drawings. 3. Provide structural calculations and a note on the drawings indicating that the existing roof structure is sufficient to hold the new heat pumps that area to be mounted above the ceiling and supported from the roof structure shown on sheet M1.0. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Add to the list of applicable codes the City of Tucson/ Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code. 2. Please note on the drawings that the fitness center/ gym is considered B Occupancy per 2018 IBC per 303.1.1. 3. Provide a life safety plan and indicate the exits and distances on the plans. Include the locations of ant exit lights and em lighting. 4. Provide a site plan sheet that indicates the accessible path from the building to the public way. Is appears that there is a ramp on the west elevation and the building section however it does not appear to reach the parking lot level. The existing ramp that can be seen on an aerial view of the parking lot does not appear to be ADA complaint. 5. Provide an overall clear width of the existing? ramp and show the new column that will now be an obstruction. 6. Provide a dimension for the new electrical closet on the plans, no width was found. 7. The new electrical panels are indicated in being in a small room which is not identified on the floor plan but is called storage on the door schedule. If this is to be an electrical closet, no storage is allowed. Please coordinate and indicate no storage on the drawings. In addition, this room will require a light, coordinate with the electrical plans. 8. Clarify exiting fireplace getting closed up and note this on the drawings. 9. Clarify that the paper towel/ trash is flush mounted not just recessed, the door must maintain the required 18” of clear space ICC A117.1 Figure 404.2.3.2. 10. Clarify what wall type W3 indicates on the building section sheet A4.02, it is not noted in the wall schedule. 11. Indicate on the finish schedule that all interior finishes will be class C or better 2018 IBC Table 803.13 12. Indicate the height of the existing roof parapet on the wall sections to verify compliance with a fall guard for the mechanical unit. 13. The Mechanical drawings indicate that the new heat pump will be mounted above the ceiling and supported from the existing structure on sheet M1.0. clarify that this is possible (it appears to be minimum depth in the wall sections) and show the location of the access hatches on the reflected ceiling plans. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Approved PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Indicate the location of the existing or new water heater on the plans and any details for its hanging/ support. 2. Indicate the location of a mop sink on the plans. Even as an occupancy class B, one mop sink is required per 2018 IBC (P)Table 2901.1.
