1. Indicate on the project data information on sheet CS if the building is equipped with a fire sprinkler and/ or a fire alarm system.
2. Clarify the occupancy use of the space, the information on sheet CS indicates an A-2 occupancy for assembly such as restaurants however this appears to be a retail sales space such as occupancy group M. 2018 IBC 309.
3. Update the occupancy loads to match the occupancy type if this is indeed type M. Type M indicates 60sf for the showroom and 300sf per person for the storage area. 2018 IBC Table 1004.5. Update the exit and the life safety plans as required to reflect any changes.
4. Note the allowed travel distance in the project data exiting requirement information on sheet CS per 2018 IBC Table 1017.2.
5. Indicate and additional “travel distance” from the area outside of the bathrooms on the Life Safety Plan sheet A0.1.
6. Clarify if the existing wall between the tenant space and the space directly to the north (Ross for Less) is a fire rated assembly. If so, indicate the rating on the drawings and note that the required tenant separation rating must be maintained. 2018 IBC 706/ 708.1.
7. Provide the cut sheets for new exterior roll up door that indicates the insulation value in accordance with the 2018 IECC Table C402.1.4 or indicate the required minimum value on the door schedule sheet GN3.
8. Indicate any new concrete work for the new exterior door on the plans such as a new apron. No details were provided for the bottom of the door, only the header was detailed on the structural plans.
9. Plan note 5 on sheet D1 indicates to see the structural sheet S1 for details on the headers for the new roll up doors (both interior and exterior) however only the new exterior door is shown. Provide details for the new interior roll up door on the drawings.
10. Clarify why there is an exterior door header detail on the plans A9 that shows a framed wall with stucco, the plans only indicate a new exterior roll up door on a masonry wall.

1. Provide a panel schedule for the existing panel which will receive the new breakers for the new receptacles. Indicate the wire size, type of conduit and wire type to be installed on the drawings to be used to feed these new receptacles.
2. Provide a reflected ceiling plan and indicate any changes to the lighting and track lighting to accommodate the new walls. Indicate the location of all existing and new exit signage on the plans. 2018 IBC 1013.1.
3. Indicate the location of the existing and new emergency lighting in the event of a power failure with battery backup on the plans. 2018 IBC 1008.3.1.
4. Indicate the location of all existing or new “night lighting” on the reflected ceiling plan for egress illumination or indicate light sensors will be used. All rooms and usable floor surfaces in a building shall be equipped with artificial lighting and shall be illuminated at all times that the space is occupied. 2018 IBC 1008.2.
5. Indicate the location of an existing emergency light on the exterior at the exit doors to illuminate the landings or indicate new fixtures will be provided. 2018 IBC 1008.3.2 (5).
