2. Show the location of the existing water meter, backflow preventer, and the water service pipe on a site plan. Provide the size of the water meter serving this building, the size of the backflow preventer associated with the water meter, and the total water demand served by the water meter. Reference: Section 107.2.1 and 107.2.6, IBC 2018.
3. Provide sufficient information to show that the installation of the new plumbing fixtures will not cause the existing water supply and sanitary waste systems to become overloaded. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
4. Provide water supply isometrics. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
5. Coordinate the fixture tags used in the plumbing plan with the plumbing fixture specifications.
6. Show the plumbing fixtures and drainage fittings installed correctly and, in a manner, consistent with the Code and the manufacturer’s instructions (e.g. revise the connection of the horizontal drain serving the water closet lavatory to the horizontal drain from the 2-compartment sink and the mop sink). Reference: Section 303.2, IPC 2018.
7. Verify that the metering faucet for the lavatory dispenses a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
8. Provide tempered water for the lavatories and public hand-washing sinks in restrooms using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070 (not ASSE 1016). Reference: Sections 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018.
9. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatory complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
10. Verify that the new restroom is provided with a minimum exhaust flow rate of 50 CFM per water closet if the exhaust is continuous, 70 CFM if the exhaust is intermittent. Reference: Section 403.3.1.1 and Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018.
