Developed Area response:

>>> The original review comment did not specifically require an entire site calculation or inventory. See original comment below. The original review comment is intended to align with the proposed 2024 OLC. Because the proposed 2024 OLC code has not been adopted yet flexibility has been extended by the building official if the developed area of the site is clearly delineated AND the EOR provides a declaration or statement or other certification that the same developed area is not also being claimed by another project or development.

Original comment: As part of your site lighting plan, please clearly delineate the 6 acres of developed area you are declaring for this lighting use.
a. Because Reid Park is fully developed, please provide a declaration that the 6 acres being claimed as part of this development, are also not being claimed under any other projects or developments.

Lumen Calculation for Performance Centers response:

>>> In addition to the provided ‘Proposed Resolution’, applicants should use 2012 OLC Chapter 6 as a guide and propose similar language that addresses the same issues as covered in Chapter 6 of the 2012 OLC.
(OLC 601.1): Lighting not directly related to the theater.
(OLC 601.2 ): OLC 601.2 for shielding and light angles may not translate directly to stage lighting at an outdoor theater, but it may be necessary to propose limits to up-light, angles of lights, and color temperature, in order to show this exemption meets the intent of the Outdoor Lighting Code.
(OLC 6013): Similar language and restrictions for ‘Event Schedule’, ‘Allowable operation and turn-on controls’ and possible ‘Automatic Controls’.
