Since the rinse area is being added as part of this project, at least one accessible rinse fixture is required to comply with IBC Section 1110.2. This may be provided as either a roll-in shower or a transfer-type shower designed in accordance with 2017 ICC A117.1 Section 608.
The accessible rinse fixture must include all applicable features, including but not limited to a seat, grab bars, operable controls, and a hand-held shower.
Based on this review, it appears the proposed rinse area is required to be accessible.
