The following review comments are for the proper permit record and for the inspections process. 1. General a. Update the permit application with the correct city business license number for Allen Industries. (Separate number than the Contractor’s number. If you need assistance, call 520-791-4566.) 2. UDC 7A:10.2. General Business / Sign area by street front / building fronts (for measuring sign area allowances) a. Please provide the lot line frontage long Broadway at 236 feet b. Please provide the note that the dimension from the east drive thru lane to the back of the ADA parking space is 140’ (this is along Broadway frontage) c. Please provide a note that the dimension from the drive thru lane at the north to the building area to the south is 70 feet (is the area facing Campbell) d. Please provide the lot line frontage along Campbell as 140 feet 3. NEC / OLC: (several of these notes are for inspections purposes) a. For each sign A- D, label as such on the plans to coordinate with the application b. For signs A-D list the volts, amps, and number of circuits c. For each sign A- C, list a note that states a lock out to be provided at disconnect switch d. Provide note that “all signs to shut off at midnight or business closure if later” (i.e they may have a drive thru that operates later) e. Add note how power supply mounted to wall f. Add note for location of breaker panel (i.e. is it in kitchen / riser room, etc.) g. Add note for location of timer (i.e. next to breaker panel) h. Add note that all sign circuits shall be labeled 4. IBC: a. Add note with information on how power supply attached / typical number size of attachments for all wall signs b. Add engineered plans for sign E – drive up station c. Add electrical data for sign E – drive up station d. Note that no work to be done this permit for any menu boards Sending contractor’s representative a copy of the marked plans with this set of review comments.
