Codes: Unified Development Code (UDC) 7A Sign Standards, National Electrical Code (NEC), Tucson--Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), International Building Code (IBC) 2018.

1. UDC:
A. please use page 4 of the approved development plan sheet for sign location - this plan provided is too pixelated. Sidewalks, property line, sign setbacks, SVTs and driveway should all be used for sign location methods. Here's the link to view the plan: https://tucsonaz.onbaseonline.com/1801AppNet2/docpop/docpop.aspx
B. I fully acknowledge the size, height, general location of the sign is allowed and it is an on site sign, as the properties for the restaurant and access drive are owned by the same entity.
C. On the application, please ID the sign type as "access pt"
D. The following information is needed for permit record clarity.
E. Email me when you resubmit and I'll be able to pull the plan to review it faster.

2. NEC / OLC:
A. Add note - separate electrical permit required to run power to the sign.
B. Add note - timer will shut sign off at midnight or when business closes - later time ok
C. Add note - dedicated sign circuits shall be labeled at breaker panel or pedestal for inspections
D. Add note - UL, manufacturer and installer sticker to be on sign

3. IBC:
A please provide mounting plate and bolt cap notes - or simple quick diagram - showing cabinet mount to thread bolts
B. note footer size for record (does not need excavation inspection)

If you have any questions, please email me. Again - when you resubmit, let me know and I'll pull the file for faster review. Thank you.
