Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied THE RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS SAYS THAT SEE SUPPLEMENTAL CALCULATIONS. NO SUPPLEMENTAL CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED TO THIS SUBMITTAL. SUBMIT SEALED AND SIGNED SUPPLEMENTAL CALCULATIONS FOR REVIEW. 1. Refer to Mechanical Drawings M104 and M105. Multiple Condenser Units (CU’s) are being added at the existing roof. Verify the adequacy of the existing roof to support the additional loadings and submit Structural Calculations justifying that. 2. All Calculations shall be sealed and signed by Professional Engineer registered with State of Arizona per Section 107.1 of International Building Code 2018. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied The following are comments from the initial review cycle that were not addressed as required: 1. General: Provide the complete most recently published listed through penetration and membrane penetration fire stopping assemblies. (2018 IBC Sec. 714.4.1.2, 714.4.2, 714.5.1.2, 714.5.2 & 714.6) Clarification (Jan. 12, 2023): The intent of this comment was for the listed through penetration firestopping assemblies to be included within the plan set. The principle registered design professional indicated that the contractor is to provide this information; however, when and where this will be provided by the contractor is not clear. Please REVISE the plan set to include these through penetration firestopping assemblies. This may not be a deferred submittal OR be provided by the contractor to the Building Inspector for field verification. 1. General: Provide listed fire-resistance joint assemblies per 2018 IBC Sec. 708.8, 715.1 & 715.3. NOTE: For guidance, please review the UL General Information for Joint Systems (httpe://iq.ulprospector.com/en/pofile?e=212154). Clarification (Jan. 12, 2023): See comment to above revision item. Please revise the plan set to include these listed assemblies. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved 1. 01/24/2023 | Site Zoning | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | ZONING REVIEW TRANSMITTAL FROM: PDSD Zoning Review PROJECT: T22CM08172, T22CM08173 – DP22-290 110 E Helen St, Bldg 1 – O-3 Multi-Family (2nd Review) TRANSMITTAL: January 24, 2023 COMMENT: Resubmit revised drawings and a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. This site is located in O-3 Zone (UDC 4.7.15). Multi-Family is a permitted use (UDC Table 4.8-2). 1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with DP22-0290 and all though it appears that the building plans match the DP in regard to building size and height, until the DP is approved by all review agencies Zoning cannot approve.
