Show the current code reference on the plans. 2. Identify all items as proposed if built without permit. Show items as existing if built with a permit. These items may require alteration for compliance with the adopted building code. 3. Proposed exterior walls placed within the 3 foot fire separation distance to neighboring property line requires one-hour fire rating. Show the dimension of separation on the site plan. SITE PLAN: 1. Show the area of the existing carport on the site plan. Also, show the area of the new addition. Clarify if the new addition is built under existing roof or with a new roof. 2. Show the location of the existing gas meter. Also, show the proposed gas meter location at the exterior of the building. PLANS: 1. Identify the function of each room on the floor plan. 2. Show any doors or wall openings between the existing residence and new addition. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 1. Show one-hour fire-resistive framed construction for walls placed within the fire separation distance in compliance with IBC Table 721.1(2). 2. Show a complete cross-section detail of the new exterior wall, R106.1.1. Show the minimum 12” x 12” continuous #4 rebar reinforced footing, R403.1. Show with dimensions the exterior wood siding, insulation, interior sheathing, and pressure treated sill anchored with ½” x 10” bolts. Show the wall assembly with a 6” clearance above the ground or 2” clearance above an exterior concrete surface, R317.1 item 5. 3. Clarify the placement of ceiling/roof insulation for determining the need for attic ventilation or need for providing air-impermeable rigid insulation at the roof, R806. ELECTRICAL PLANS: 1. Designate the circuit number at the location of each light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equipment disconnect switch, E3404.12. 2. Show receptacle outlets at wall spaces 2’ or more with no wall point (exclude door openings) more than 6’ from a receptacle outlet, E3901.2. 3. Show a smoke alarm in each bedroom and outside the doorway in the immediate vicinity, R314.3.2.
