The re-submittal documents submitted on 2-23-2023 includes 3 separate plan(s), ‘LED Photometric Plan’, ‘LED Layout & Specs’, and ‘LED Elevation Layout’. These plans do not provide accurate and complete information as requested per the previous plan review. The previous comments are as follows;

Provide plans and evidence on the plans that the proposed exterior lighting fully complies with the Outdoor Lighting Code. See section 104 for plan submittal requirements. 1 Provide site lighting plans with the following information on the plans; Provide a complete luminaire schedule. 2 Size of the parcel in acres. 3 See table 401.1, lighting area and option and indicate this information in the lighting site plan, also showing the locations and types of all exterior luminaires including existing. 4 402.1 (light source color temperature requirements), shielding requirements, etc . 5 Provide calcs for total lumens allowed and total lumens proposed per acre including existing, for Full Cut Off and Unshielded per table 401.1. 6 Indicate whether or not a special inspection is required per sec. 104.2.2, and 106.2. 7 Specify any exceptions used. 8 Curfew lighting controls If applicable. Do not confuse the Outdoor Lighting Code with the IECC. 9 Show wiring methods, branch circuit and panel designations per 2017 NEC. Ref; 2017 NEC, 2012 Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), 2018 IBC sec 107.2.1. 2018 IECC.

Per phone conversation with Michael Donada and Dan Santa Cruz (City plan Reviewer) on 2-21-23, The plan reviewer informed Michael the importance of accuracy concerning the Lumen Calculations and correlation with the site lighting inventory both existing and new proposed lighting, also not excluding the other information required on the plans per OLC section 104, in order to verify compliance with the 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC).

Previous Plan Review Comment #1, “Provide site lighting plans with the following information on the plans;

Provide a complete Luminaire schedule. The luminaire schedule submitted does not include the Border Lighting or the ‘EA’,’EB’, ‘EC’, as shown in the plans submitted on 1-30-23.

Previous Plan Review Comment # 2. “Size of the parcel in acres”, The Photometric Plan shows 1.712 acres. Please verify this as the PIMA COUNTY GIS Parcel information shows the Parcel at 1.56 acres. (https://gis.pima.gov/maps/detail.cfm?&parcel=125101350).

Previous Plan Review Comment # 3. (a) Indicate lighting area and option on the site lighting plan, (see table 401.1 for Lighting Areas/Options. This information was not included on the plans as required per OLC. (b) Show locations of all exterior luminaires including existing. (c) Compliance with Light source color temperature requirements per section 402.1 3500K. The submitted plan ‘LED Elevation Layout’ , Ordering information table shows ‘White’ as the COLOR, and under Specifications, shows the color temperature as 6500K. This does not comply with section 402.1 OLC.

Previous Plan Review Comment #5. Provide lumen calculations. Must be accurate and include all lighting. Show;

Note #3 in the Photometric Plan is unacceptable. Calculations must be accurate.

Also be advised, a plan that is sealed by Registrant is a legal document and cannot be used, altered for another permit without permission and re-seal from that registrant.
