2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the proposed rooftop units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
3. Demonstrate energy code compliance for the alterations to the building envelope using calculations based on the current code (e.g. COMcheck). Reference: Sections C503.1 and C503.3, International Energy Conservation Code 2018.
4. Clarify the installation of the tortilla oven. Will it have a positive pressure vent (vent category III)? Will the vent be a listed assembly or a single-wall metal pipe? Reference: Sections 501.14, 503.1, and 503.7. IFGC 2018.
10/23/2023 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT Clarify the occupancy being used for this activity. The Code Analysis Data on sheet A1.0 calls out both ""This Project Only - Type A2 Occupancy" and "This Project Only - .Type M Occupancy". The major occupancy of the La Estrella suite, however, appears to be food processing (F-1 Occupancy), not a commercial kitchen because it is serving a retail outlet (M Occupancy) and not a restaurant. On this basis, two restrooms are required. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.

1. As the proposed use is only taking a portion of the building demonstrate that the requirements of UDC Article 4.9.5.E.4 are met base on the proposed square footage.
