ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS
General
1. Regarding the revised drawings, when comparing the drawings submitted to the drawings Stantec approved back on June 24, 2022, we could find no difference. What has been revised? Please clarify.
2. Regarding the deferred submittal for the ramp, there is information missing. What is the height of the guard along the ramp? Per 2018 IBC Sec. 1015.3 the guard must be 42” high. What is the spacing of the pickets? Per 2018 IBC Sec. 1015.4 the pickets must not allow a 4” diameter sphere to pass. What is the width of the ramp sections? Per 2018 IBC Sec. 1012.5.1 and Table 1020.2 the ramp must be a minimum of 36” wide between the guards. {These required dimensions appear to be met based on scaling but clear dimensions need to be provided.}
STRUCTURAL COMMENTS
1. How is the ramp being anchored to the grade and/or dock? Please provide detail(s). The approved plans do not indicate anchoring and the deferred submittal indicates that anchoring is to be “by others”.
