This letter reflects comments to be addressed. PLEASE send all response to comments back to the City through the permit portal! Responses sent directly to Stantec will be ignored. Also, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please cloud and delta all changes and provide a letter with a written response to each of the comments indicating the action taken. The scope of this review covers the architectural and structural designs as they relate to the codes adopted by the jurisdiction. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS General 1. The steel wall framing plans are not reviewed and notated by the architect of record. There are multiple notes throughout the plan-set requesting the architect of record verifies details. [Ref. IBC 2018 Sec. 107.3.4.1] STRUCTURAL COMMENTS General 1. The steel stud framing plan does not appear to be designed with the latest set of construction documents. The wall elevations on the provided set differ from the latest set of construction documents with a revision date of 5/17/2024. Please update the steel framing plan with the latest set of construction documents. 2. The steel stair shop drawings include a note on the cover sheet that requests the structural calculations for the metal stair shop drawings as requested in General Note #18 on Sheet S200 of the structural construction documents by the engineer of record. Please provide the calculations to the engineer of record for his review and notation of compliance with design. [Ref.
