The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. COMMENTS: 1. Provide foundation detail drawing for the 4x4 wood posts at the wood canopy. If Simpson post standoff were used (call it out) and if gap is allowed between the concrete slab and the bottom of the post, please show this on your drawing. 2. Provide canopy detail drawing for the wood canopy, do make sure to provide information as to how the connection is built at the post to beam connection (call it out if Simpson saddle was used)as well as the beam to rafter connection along with the type of sheathing and roof material used. Don’t forget to indicate the slope of the roof as well as the clear height of the roof. 3. Provide ledger detail drawing for the wood canopy. Do make sure to show and callout the anchors used and how often on the drawing as well as the ledger size and material used. 4. Show drawing details how the lateral forces as resisted, for example a 115 mph 3 second gust of wind. 5. Thank You for submitting the foundation detail for the steel post. Provide a zoomed in detail drawing at the steel plate located at the bottom of the steel post. Illustrate what type of anchor were used and call the product information and whether there is a gap between the concrete slab and the steel plate at the bottom of the steel post. If high strength steel bolts were used, please do call it out on your drawing. Do call out the type of welding type used. 6. Thank You for submitting the steel canopy detail drawing. Indicate where and what type of welding used. Indicate the slope of the steel roof. Indicate the clear height dimensions. 7. At the steel canopy, provide a ledger detail. Please do provide all the information as to ledger material and size used as well as to what anchors used and how often. 8. Show any lights that are installed. Submit an image of the light fixture used. If Outdoor Lighting Code needs compliance, show your calculations on your drawing. 9. Please resubmit. |
