05/08/2023 | Signs | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Below are comments on the authorized repair third resubmittal for COT ID# 592 at 10411 East Interstate 10 (T21BU00498). Sheet 1 of 2 No comments. Sheet 2 of 2 1. in Scope of Work, if ballasts are to be replaced, insert a paragraph in the appropriate location reflecting such replacements, identifying manufacturer and model numbers for both existing and new. 2. In the specifications box for the existing ballasts, if ballasts are not to be replaced, revise manufacturer and model number to reflect existing installation; 2/9/23 Engineer’s response letter indicates that ballasts are the same as installed under T10EL01797, but the ballasts shown on that plan are Philips Advance RS-2S100-FO (consistent with the existing rectangular cans w/o j-box fittings) and not the Universal WPR-480-X-LHR shown on current plan; further clarify why applicant believes there is no VHO weatherproof equivalent to the Universal WPR-480-X-LHR, such as the Universal WPR-931; both ballasts and lamps must be HO, not VHO. Sheet 3 of 3 1. In Detail A, if ballasts are to be replaced. revise the designation for the two ballasts as being replaced with new rather than being detached and reattached, referencing the ballast identifications on Sheet 2. |
