Sheet 2 of 2 1. Since review of the first resubmittal, it has been determined that the existing fluorescent lamps and associated ballasts are of the very high output type (215 watt lamp), contrary to the high output lamp and ballast (110 watt lamp) specified on the approved plans under T10EL01797; in Scope of Work, insert a paragraph in the appropriate location that provides for the replacement of the two very high output ballasts with two high output ballasts, identifying the model numbers for both existing and new (Note: a separate plan or plan sheet under an electrical engineer’s seal is not required for ballast replacement under the Stipulation). 2. In the specifications box for the existing lamp and existing ballast, revise respective titles so as to indicate new ballasts and new lamps as per Comment #1 above, also revising the ballast model number if applicable. Sheet 3 of 3 1. In Detail A, revise the designation for the two ballasts as being replaced with new rather than being detached and reattached, referencing the ballast identifications on Sheet 2. Engineer’s Response Letter. 1. Please correct the sheet numbers for Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 and delete the duplicate sentence/paragraph above the numbered responses and resubmit along with response letter for the second resubmittal comments. |
