| Historic Districts Documents Confirmation | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Generally wood for wood replacement is fine, I have some comments below for the applicant to address: 1.) The stiles on the upper sashes have a scalloped leg profile which should be matched (as shown on photos provided). 2. ) Please verify they arched trim at window heads will remain or be repaired/replaced in kind. Elevations showing the full window frame and trim would be helpful. 3.) Replacement windows should sit in the same position as existing windows relative to the exterior face of the wall. 4.) The window descriptions indicate "no brick mold". Please clarify how these are to be installed: are they using the existing frames and just replacing the sashes? The provided windows only show the sashes. If full assembly is being replaced, we need to see elevations to scale to determine if the new profiles are similar to the originals. 5.) Clarify if window screens are being provided. Per WU guidelines, screen frames must be wood and flush with brick mold. 6.) Provide a key plan indicating the location of all windows. 7) Provide a "Comment Response Letter" that will show how you are capturing all items listed in Items#1-6.
