Thank you for revising your plans following review by the West University HZAB and PRS. The plans require revisions and will need to be resubmitted before they can be approved. Please see detailed comments below. Markups will also be emailed to you.
1. p. A2.0, Window Schedule: Confirming the windows at the ADU are intended to be real wood windows? If they are intended to be aluminum clad wood windows, note that in the plans. Either are acceptable but the plans need to be clear. Once “wood windows” are approved, you will be locked into using wood windows.
2. p. A2.2: There are duplicate page A2.2s. Delete one of the duplicates and clean up the order of the sheets.
3. p. A2.2, East Elevation: Why isn't the entire East elevation shown? What is going on with the other windows on the east elevation? Show entire east elevation and all windows. As an alternative to providing the full elevation: If remaining portions of facades are going to remain as existing, then put that as a note on this sheet.
4. p. A2.2, West Elevation: Why isn't the entire West elevation shown? What is going on with the other windows on the west elevation? Show entire west elevation and all windows either existing or to be replaced. As an alternative to providing the full elevation: If remaining portions of facades are going to remain as existing, then put that as a note on this sheet. Those windows that are to be replaced should have 9-lites-over-1. Revise drawings to show 9-lite-over one like the example provided in the markups.
5. p. A2.2, North Elevation: Revise to show 9-lite-over one like the example in the markups.
6. p. A2.2, South Elevation: Please confirm that no work is happening on the south façade. Note on the elevation sheet, “No work proposed at south façade.”
7. p. A3.0, West Elevation of ADU: Remove references to foam pop-outs
8. p. 40 of the plan set, Window Details: Show full image of the window detail. Provide a key or label to indicate the corresponding window on the elevations or site plan.
9. p. 42 of the plan set, North Side Window Proposal: North window should be a 9-lite-over-1 like the photo next to the drawing.
10. p. 45 of plan set, East Side Window Proposal: Are these meant to have divided lites on top? The image to the right show one-over-one lites. One-over-one lites would be accepted at this location.
