Historic - Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT Additional items needed: window and door schedule noting dimensions, materials, operation. Comments: The proposed treatment of the west facade meets historic preservation standards - the sizes and locations of openings will not change, the proposed door and metal window treatments are appropriate, and there are no other proposed alterations to the facades. The front (north) facade was historically asymmetrical. The proposed alterations would change the opening sizes and configuration so as to make the front symmetrical. It also appears that the size of the bulkhead would change. Recommend revising plans to retain existing opening locations, sizes, and configuration. Recommend retaining/replacing front door system with something similar to existing in terms of design and configuration. Proposed metal material is an appropriate replacement. This project will require review by the Plans Review Subcommittee of the Tucson Pima County Historical Commission. Final Historic approval is determined by the PDSD Director. For questions about these comments, email desiree.aranda@tucsonaz.gov.
