Historic Districts Application Completeness Express REQUIRES RESUBMIT Staff has reviewed the Design Package submitted on 5/29/25 and here are my comments. The submittal is incomplete for the following: (1) Revise the plan to include a Development Zone Map showing contributing and non-contributing properties using Historic Map Tucson

A boundary should be drawn around the Development Zone to clearly mark it.
The submitted aerial/DZ is incorrect .The DZ for this project is on both sides of E 1st Street between N 4th Ave and N 5th Ave. (2) Provide a completed detailed UDC 5.8.9 Narrative. Explain how the proposal is compatible. Just saying it is compatible without justifying is not enough. You can cite plan #, sheet or key note#. (3) On height and setbacks compare with other properties within DZ (using 315, 317 and 319 E 1st St are same parcel # 117-02-0910 is incorrect). (4) on Landscaping proposing 8' wall? (5) Provide all these requested items in a revised Design Package in a single compressed pdf file. Multiple files will be rejected.
Note WUHZAB review meeting is 6/10/25 and dead time for application to be complete and ready for review is 6/3/2025. Once submitted, let me know. Otherwise next review is 7/15/2025. Resubmit
