08/16/2023 | ROW Engineering Review | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | TD-DEV-0323-00194 (7889 E 22ND ST TUCSON, AZ 85710) Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all comments were addressed. Comments: 1. SDG 5-10 – Old Vail Rd is categorized as a Suburban Connector by the Move Tucson street typologies. Curb returns radiuses on Suburban Connectors are recommend to be 20’ for increased pedestrian comfort. Can these curb return radiuses be reduced from 25’ to 20’? 2. Similarly, the intersection of Middle Service and Main Access features 18’ curb radiuses. The Street Design Guide recommends 15’ curb radiuses for intersections of two neighborhood streets. If you feel this would enhance the walkability of the intersection, feel free to use 15’ curb radiuses.
