Please amend plans to show a photometric plan or other method of showing 1 footcandle of normal power illumination at the walking surface along the path(s) of exit discharge, while the building is occupied. IBC 1008.2.1, IBC 1008.2.3 8. Sheet S1.1: Please amend plans to list the required special inspections and provide a project specific statement of special inspections. IBC 107.2.1 & 1704.1 9. Sheet a3.0: Please amend plans to indicate the type and location of the roof vents and list the effective net free area of the roof vent system. IBC 107.2.1 10. Please amend plans to show the method of roof access for roofs over 16 feet high with equipment, a permanent ladder is provided. IMC 306.5 11. During our discussions the replacement of stairs with cracked or non-uniform treads and risers was discussed. Is this indicated on the drawings? Please indicate where this information is included in these drawings. IBC 107.2.1 12. If any of the following items are being totally reconstructed, where balconies or other elevated walking surfaces are exposed to water from direct or blowing rain, snow, or irrigation, and the structural framing is protected by an impervious moisture barrier, the construction documents shall include details for all elements of the impervious moisture barrier system. The construction documents shall include manufacturer’s installation instructions. 107.2.5 13. Structural Calculations: Pleases amend the calculations to add a footing key plan and footing schedule within the calculations.
