Enclosed is a copy of a TEP facilities map showing the approximate location of the existing facilities. Any relocation costs will be billable to the customer.
To apply for electric service, please call the New Construction department at (520) 918-8300. Please submit a final set of plans including approved site, electric load, paving off-site improvements and irrigation plans. If available, include a PDF version of the plans.

COMMENTS: Resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter explaining how each comment was addressed submitted as a formal Development Package.

1. COMMENT: Include the case number CIP-0925-00024 in the bottom right corner.

2. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Comment: In the project-location map identify and label the Railroad, Silverlake RD, Kino PW, and Park AV.

3. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Comment: Correct the use specific standards to only include “4.9.13.B & C” under project data. Remove use specific standard 4.9.13.K, as it is not applicable for the existing and proposed use in this zone.

4. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Correct the setback information under the site data on page two to comply with Nonresidential uses. Update the Project Data section note to say the Required Street Setback. The minimum required setback to the North, South, and West is 20’ measured from the existing property line and the minimum setback requirement to the East is 10’ measured from the existing or future property line. Include the proposed setbacks in addition to the minimum required setbacks.

5. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed: Include the total lot coverage calculations for the site. Per UDC table 6.3-2.B: Exceptions to the R-2 dimensional standards, Parks and Recreation uses are permitted a maximum 60% lot coverage. Demonstrate compliance with this standard.

6. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Comment: Place the C9-56-57 and the plan/plat file numbers in the lower right corner of each sheet.

7. COMMENT: Please include a note adjacent to the parking calculations that states “Reduced parking granted through City Manager Waiver in accordance with Section V of the Administrative Directive 1.07-6. (UDC 5.12.6.M).”

8. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Comment: Identify the floor area for each building.

9. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed – Comment: All existing zoning classifications on and adjacent to the project (including across any adjacent right-of-way) shall be indicated on the drawing with zoning boundaries clearly defined. Provide the zoning classification on adjacent properties, including across any adjacent right of way.

10. COMMENT: This comment was not addressed - Comment: Provide the square footage and the height of each commercial, industrial, or business structure and the specific use proposed within the footprint of the building(s).

1. The RIM elevation of the nearest upstream manhole (#5671-08) is 2455.88 and the FFE of new building is 2456.00. Since the FFE is less than 12 inches above the elevation of the next upstream manhole cover, a backwater valve will be required. Reference: Section 714.1, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
