1. In the Project Information, Occupancy Type row indicates 58 occupants. However, in the Occupancy Calculation it indicates 56 occupants. Please be consistent with the occupant load.
2. An exit access shall not pass through a room that can be locked to prevent egress. IBC 1016.2 Please ensure this is complied to on the door between the new training space and student registration room.
3. Please add a separate line for the occupant load calculation for the Student Registration room. This should be a separate line from the New Training Space occupant load line.
4. Direction of swing.
a. Pivot or side-hinged swinging doors shall swing in the direction of egress travel where serving a room or area containing an occupant load of 50 or more persons or a Group H occupancy. IBC 1010.1.2.1 Please comply to this code section for the outer door for the Student Registration.
5. Show the clearance within the restroom such as the water closet floor clearance, as well as the turning radius.

6. Miscellaneous:

a. Will the class need a projector, if so provide electrical for it.
b. Will there be a need for a p.a. system, if so provide power for it.
c. Is there a blackboard, if so please show it on your drawings.
d. Will there be a lectern for the instructor, if so provide electrical on the floor.
7. Please locate/label the location of the bicycle rack on the Site Plan.

1. UDC:
A. This property is zoned RH. A wall sign is permitted however it is restricted to nonresidential use per UDC 7A.10.2.A. The proposed sign on your plans is considered an interior site sign for visitors and is non illuminated so no sign permit will need to be obtained. Facilities management can install and maintain the sign. If new signage is proposed along Wilmot Road or the interior sign will be electrified, a sign permit must obtained.

COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.

This plan has been reviewed for compliance with the Unified Development Code (UDC) Administrative Manual (AM) Section 2-06. Also compliance with applicable development criteria for the proposed use as listed in the City of Tucson Uniform Development Code (UDC) and the UDC Technical Standards Manual (TSM).

Section 3.3.3.G.5.c UDC, An applicant has one year from the date of application to obtain approval of a site plan that complies with zoning and other development requirements in effect at the time of application, unless an ordinance adopted by Mayor and Council during this period states otherwise. A site plan application that has been in review for a period of one year and has not yet been approved is considered denied. To continue the review of a site plan for the property, a new site plan must be submitted that complies with regulations in effect at the time of re-submittal. The new submittal initiates a new one-year review period. One year Expiration date is August 19, 2025


Ensure the following general notes are provided:

2. List the gross area of the site by square footage and acreage.
