I am assuming that you already have in hand the Structural Engineer's structural calculations and detail drawings with his seal/signature/date signed affixed to the drawings for the steel canopy. Please do make sure that this is submitted. 2.) Requires that accessibility be provided. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. For example the Lavatories and Counters in both restrooms. The existing may already be in compliance. If these items are in full compliance with the current code, provide a statement indicating this as met. Otherwise, accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. Accessibility upgrades equaling 20% of the cost of the project shall be made. For example, ensure that the sinks and counters comply to ICC A117.1 section 606. Lavatory shall be maximum 34 inches above floor to the higher of the rim or counter surface, faucets and soap dispenser shall have a reach depth of 11 inches per ANSI 606.5 The lavatory faucet shall be a metering faucet. The metering faucet shall dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 412.11, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 2.
