| Archeological Sensitivity - Standard | REVIEW COMPLETED | Per the archaeological review and Request for Consultation with SHPO dated Janary 28, 2025, "The area of potential effects (APE) includes the project footprint and all immediately adjacent properties. Although no cultural resources surveys have been performed with the APE, based on AZSITE, cultural resources surveys completed within a half mile radius of the APE resulted in the discovery of no archaeological sites. The closest sites are over a mile or more away and those represent historic buildings that were assigned site numbers, a practice that has since been discontinued. The probability of subsurface deposits is low based on the results of previous inventories surrounding the APE, a high degree of disturbance related to suburban residential development, and the APE’s location away from landforms commonly associated with higher densities of precontact Native American occupations...Based upon the information above, the City has determined that a finding of “No Adverse Effect to Historic Properties” is appropriate for this project." SHPO concurred on February 25, 2025. | |||
