REVIEW #2 (75% DD PLAN SET)

This plan has been reviewed for compliance with applicable development criteria in the City of Tucson Unified Development Code (UDC) Administrative Manual (AM) Section 2-11 and Technical Manual (TM) Section for landscape, native plants, and water harvesting.

Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Landscape/NPPO Review Section comments are addressed.

SITE LANDSCAPE COMMENTS:

1. Add a callout to the planting sheets to see sheet L501 for plant material quantities.

2. Possibly add a general note to the planting plans to this effect: “If discrepancies are present between the planting plan the planting legend, that the planting plan shall dictate plant quantities.”

3. Add a Cactus planting detail for the 17-barrel cactus transplants.

4. Minor addition: One 4” sleeve sidewalk crossing is missing on sheet I101.

5. With the abundance of underground utility lines on this project, double check and coordinate all tree planting locations for possible conflicts. A few trees are in close proximity to splash pad plumbing lines.

6. Complete the remote-control valve schedule for the next submittal.

7. The 75% DD drawings look great. Some details are missing with regard to the splash pad equipment on sheet SP-501. Coordinate with the splash pad subconsultant and provide the missing details for substantial completion and approval of the plan set.

Thank you.
