ROW Engineering Review REVIEW COMPLETED The design of the gated entrance shall allow vehicles that do not go past the gate to turn around without interfering with other traffic (reversing onto the travel lane). Please provide an AutoTurn Exhibit for review/approval. Gated entry encroaches the required 60' driveway throat length, provide a queuing analysis by a Traffic Engineer for the gated entry to ensure sufficient storage capacity.
Signs REVIEW COMPLETED Previous comments still apply.
TSMR/PDMR - Zoning REVIEW COMPLETED
TW Planning and Engineering Review REVIEW COMPLETED We would request that a condition of the permit be to include bluestake and at least two potholes for the water line that is in the ROW and being paved over (one pothole for each entrance). Once depths are known coordination with Tucson Water should be notified as the water line is of an age and material that would be vulnerable to removal of proposed cover (10") and construction activities and may result in a line break due to vibrational equipment.

Noted that the water line is omitted from drawings and should be added so that contractors know it is present for details associated with paving and gate.

Gate construction should consider waterline location and depth to ensure any structural elements do not undermine water infrastructure.

For existing water infrastructure As-Built documentation please place a request with TWMapInfo at TWMapInfo@tucsonaz.gov
Please request the following files:
Associated valve system map for NE231414 and As-built files associated with PN_037-1986 (specifically 037_1962_002.tif).
