EXPLANATION OF WHY CONFORMANCE WITH THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT PRESENTS AN UNUSUAL PROBLEM: Since the Delta Chi Fraternity house now has automatic sprinkler system throughout the entire property and also has a monitored alarm system we want to eliminate the old fire hose racks and the fire extinguisher cabinets. The under grads continuely use the fire extinguisher as toys. The whole house is sprinklered and alarm monitored.

STATE SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS PROPOSED IN LIEU OF LITERAL COMPLIANCE: We propose to remove the fire extinguisher cabinets and put metal covers over the old hose rack stations, we will retain the proper fire extinguishers in the kitchen.
