Per memo from Inspector Vincent: This is a two story fratenity house with eight bedrooms and eight residents. Its approximately 5200 sq ft. They have two residential cooking appliances stove/ovens. One appliance is in their kitchen and the other in the Presidents room. They have been ordered to install a commercial hood system, Type-I over the appliance in the kitchen. They are appealing this requirement. (609.1 and 609.2).

STATE SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS PROPOSED IN LIEU OF LITERAL COMPLIANCE: Since not commercial, then violation is not valid.
