The project is removal of an existing PV system and a new roof installation of a 3.52kW DC and 3.04kW AC photovoltaic solar and storage installation, comprised of eight (8) modules, all flush mounted on the 5:12 pitch roofs of the main house and a detached garage. The panels have a 6” gap between the roof line and the bottom of the panels. The solar equipment (Solar meter and photovoltaic system disconnect) is located on the west wall of the main residence adjacent to the existing electrical service equipment. An existing trench will connect the modules in the detached garage to the main service area. The electrical conduits will be painted to match the color of the buildings. There is no change to the roof structure, shape, or pitch.
