PLEASE CONSIDER THSI LETTER THE PUNCH LIST OF ITEMS TO E ADDRESSED/RECTIFIED PRIOR TO THE ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BY THE CITY OF TUCSON FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION. FUTURE INSPECTIONS WILL REQUIRE A LETTER OF CERTIFICATION THAT ALL PUNCH LIST ITEMS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED BY THE ENGINEERING-OF-RECORD. IN ADDITION TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL PUNCH LIST ITEMS PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC SIGNAGE AND STRIPING. 1) PLEASE INSURE THAT THE RIGHT-OF-WAY EXCAVATION PERMIT IS CURRENT BEFORE WORKING ON ANY PUNCH LIST ITEMS. IF THE PERMIT IS EXPIRED, A NEW PERMIT FOR THE P.I.A. IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ANY REMEDIAL WORK OR RE-INSPECTION OF CASA DE KINO III. 2) REPAIR OR REPLACE ALL CHIPPED/BROKEN CURBING THROUGHOUT THE SUBJECT SITE. 3) REMOVE ALL DEBRIS AND DIRT FROM STREETS, CURB, AND SIDEWALK AREAS. FUTURE INSPECTIONS MAY PRODUCE ADDITIONAL PUNCHLIST ITEMS. 4) THE CONCRETE FINISH OF THE SIDEWALK ADJACENT TO LOTS 172 (SOUTH). 163, 168, 187, 186, AND 178 DO NOT MEET COT STANDARDS. 5) REMOVE AND REPLACE CHIPPED AND DAMAGED SECTIONS SIDEWALK ADJACENT TO LOT 172 (EAST) AND 168. 6) REMOVE ALL CONCRETE ADN ASPHALT SPILLS IN PAVEMENT AREA THROUGHOUT PROJECT AREA. 7) REMOVE AND REPLACE BROKEN/CRACKED CONCRETE SECTIONS OF THE DRIVEWAY APRON ADJACENT TO LOT 161. 8) THE CONCRETE FINISH OF THE CURB ACCESS RAMP ADJACENT TO LOTS 167, 180, 181, AND 164 DO NOT MEET COT STANDARDS. 9) THE CONCRETE FINISH OF THE CURB ADJACENT TO LOT 192 DOES NOT MEET COT STANDARDS. 10) SUBMIT RECORDED EASEMENT/PURCHASE DOCUMENTATION FOR THE AREA WHERE THE RETAINING WALL ADJACENT TO LOT 206 IS ENCROACHING INTO COT RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND "AS-BUILT" RECORDATION ON APPROVED PAVING PLAN MYLARS. |
