Permit Description: Proposal is for a new Physical Rehabilitation Hospital. The hospital provides inpatient care for patients with impairments resulting from a traumatic medical situation, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, neurological illness, major multiple traumas, and orthopedic conditions with complex or profound impairments. Approximately 53,244 square feet, the proposed three-story inpatient rehabilitation hospital shall have forty-eight beds and is of steel construction. The facility will also have an outdoor physical therapy garden.
