10/02/2026 All excavations shall be secured for safety at the end of each shift. If pedestrian access cannot be maintained, a temporary protected pedestrian route shall be provided. All open trenches shall be protected by Type II barricades with Type A flashers and surrounded by a barrier fence. Trenches deeper than 4 feet shall be surrounded by chain-link fence. Excavations may need to be covered with steel plates or other approved materials at the end of each shift.
10/02/2026 Equipment or poles shall not be stored unattended within the ROW without approved barricades and safety delineation. Equipment or poles left overnight or for extended periods shall be properly secured and protected to prevent hazards to pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
10/02/2026 The contractor shall not block driveways or restrict resident access without prior notification and shall coordinate directly with affected property owners as necessary
