| 09/30/2026 | All excavations shall be secured for safety at the end of each shift. If pedestrian access cannot be maintained, a temporary protected pedestrian route shall be provided. All open trenches shall be protected by Type II barricades with Type A flashers and surrounded by a barrier fence. Trenches deeper than 4 feet shall be surrounded by chain-link fence. Excavations may need to be covered with steel plates or other approved materials at the end of each shift. |

| 09/30/2026 | School Zone Work Restriction Pole removal and associated utility work shall not interfere with student arrival or dismissal operations. No pole removal, crane/boom operations, lane closures, sidewalk closures, or construction vehicle movements that conflict with student pedestrian routes shall occur during established school arrival and dismissal periods. At all other times during school hours, the contractor shall maintain a continuous, clearly delineated pedestrian route on the same side of the roadway, maintain access to designated school crossings and school entrances, and implement an approved Temporary Traffic Control Plan. Work shall be coordinated with the school administration and the applicable traffic authority prior to commencement. If safe pedestrian access or required traffic control cannot be maintained, work shall cease until the condition is corrected |
