FIELD ADJUSTMENTS MAY BE REQUIRED. REPLACE/REPAIR SIDEWALK PANELS PER PAG STANDARD DETAIL 200\206 . PEDESTRIAN DETOUR ROUTE ON SAME SIDE OF RIGHT OF WAY TO BE PROVIDED. PER CITY CODE AND POLICY. 08/20/2026 Excavation - All excavations shall be secured for safety at the end of each shift. All open trenches shall be protected by Type II barricades with Type A flashers and surrounded by a barrier fence. Trenches deeper than 4 feet must be surrounded by chain-link fence. Excavations may need to be covered with steel plates or other approved materials at the end of each shift
08/20/2026 Fire Station - The contractor shall coordinate with the nearby fire station prior to implementing any road closures or traffic control that may impact emergency access. The contractor shall maintain access for emergency vehicles at all times when working near fire stations, hospitals, or emergency response routes. The contractor shall notify the fire station a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of work and coordinate any necessary accommodations to ensure emergency response is not delayed..
08/20/2026 Neighborhood work - The contractor shall not block driveways or restrict resident access without prior notification and shall coordinate directly with affected property owners as necessary
08/20/2026 Traffic Control Devices - Lane closures and street closures shall only be permitted during active work operations. At the end of each workday, the contractor shall remove all traffic control devices and reopen the roadway, bike lanes, and sidewalks to normal operation. Twenty-four (24) hour lane closures are not permitted unless specifically approved by the City. Traffic Control Devices shall not be stored in the bike lane or sidewalk.
