07/28/2026 - All excavations must be securely plated or backfilled at the end of each workday and during any period when the site is unattended. Plating shall be traffic-rated, flush with the surrounding surface, and properly secured to prevent movement and to maintain public safety
07/28/2026 Equipment or poles shall not be stored unattended within the ROW without approved barricades and safety delineation. Equipment or Poles left overnight or for extended periods must be properly secured and protected to prevent hazards to pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles.
07/28/2026 Lane closures and street closures shall only be permitted during active work operations. At the end of each workday, the contractor shall remove all traffic control devices and reopen the roadway, bike lanes, and sidewalks to normal operation. Twenty-four (24) hour lane closures are not permitted unless specifically approved by the City. Traffic Control Devices shall not be stored in the bike lane or sidewalk.
07/28/2026 No pedestrian detour is proposed. Therefore, the sidewalk shall remain open and ADA compliant at all times during construction. Worker-assisted pedestrian access does not constitute a pedestrian detour and shall not require pedestrians to leave the designated pedestrian path. If the sidewalk cannot be maintained, an approved pedestrian detour shall be implemented prior to sidewalk closure.
