This permit involves affixing 24 - 2'x3' baked porcelain enamel panels depicting historic downtown Tucson postcards; six each will be placed on each of the four retaining walls leading to the underpass. This is a project funded by Rio Nuevo and the Donovan Dean Durband Supports Tucson foundation, and will honor the life and work of Donovan Durband. The underpass will be renamed the Donovan Durband Sixth Avenue Underpass.
