03/16/2026 All excavations must be securely plated or backfilled at the end of each workday and during any period when the site is unattended. Plating shall be traffic-rated, flush with the surrounding surface, and properly secured to prevent movement and to maintain public safety
03/16/2026 If survey markers are damaged and/or disturbed during construction, the contractor shall have the marker reset by a registered Land Surveyor. According to state law (ARS 33-103)
03/16/2026 The contractor shall not block driveways or restrict resident access without prior notification and shall coordinate directly with affected property owners as necessary
03/16/2026 There is an active Prop 411 project in the area which has already lowered utilities ahead of the milling/paving operation, so sewer manhole and cleanouts are not even accessible unless they're re-exposed. At this time, I recommend this work be postponed until after Prop 411 is complete around July 1st, 2026. If this is not possible; this will require coordination with Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department and with my contractor (Tucson Asphalt) as they hold a current RWRD Permit for sewer manhole adjustments. Not sure of the complexities of having another contractor enter the sewer asset, while my contractor is responsible/accountable for invert protection. If it is feasible to coordinate this work with the Prop 411 Contractor; work MUST be complete by April 1, prior to paving, as we are already under strict scheduling due to other civic events (i.e. Cyclovia; Spring Street Fair; University of Arizona Graduation
