Permit Description: This project involves repairing a section of sidewalk in front of the property that has become uneven due to tree root uplift. The work will restore the sidewalk to meet ADA accessibility requirements. The contractor will evaluate whether the height differential can be corrected through concrete grinding or if the affected sidewalk panel will need to be removed and replaced. The adjacent tree contributing to the uplift will also be removed to prevent further damage. Work is expected to occur on Saturday, starting around 9:15 AM and completed the same day. The sidewalk area immediately surrounding the work zone will be temporarily restricted for pedestrian safety, but no street closures are anticipated. No new structures will be installed. Equipment used will include small concrete grinding or demolition tools and basic equipment for tree removal.
