-Trench from meter to home, under one wall (or thru with sleeve) approx 65 feet, 13-16” down -Disconnect all connections servicing furnace and water heater -Remove piping as much as possible -Remove and drain water heater from closet -Install new 1” PE gasline under ground with (2) 1” 30x PE Risers with prep guard installed per code. -yellow tracer wire to be laid in the trench Per code requirement -from house riser, install a 1” ball valve and reducer coupling (not bushing) to 3/4”. -run 3/4” black iron piping up and through the bird box on the east side of the home -run black iron gas piping through to back line of furnace closet and route gas to behind the units -install proper tee and isolation for each unit.
