Permit Description: Remove existing evaporative cooler and install new residential rooftop heat pump package unit with curb adapter. Scope includes duct modifications, electrical reconnect with new breaker, thermostat installation, associated roof duct sealing, and all work required to meet current code requirements. Supply duct to connect through curb into existing duct system. New low-profile rooftop return duct to be installed on elevated supports to maintain roof drainage. Return penetration to be located between existing roof framing members without structural modification. Return air to terminate at new filtered return grille via attic and closet chase.
