Description:
Gas Reconnection Technicians were inspecting meters in our neighborhood and notified us of their detection of a gas pressure leak . They said although it seemed very slight, they had to disconnect our gas meter and they would reconnect after the leak was found, resolved and pressure stabilized. We were told that no permit would be required and should call when ready to re-connect. However, the SWG notes did not mention that we were not required to get a permit so when we notifiedr them of gas line pressure issue resolved, they said they would come out after an inspection - standard procedure - we were told. So, we are requesting a permit at this time and will be requesting an inspection as soon as the permit system lets us, since the leak tests were done and the new pressure test has been passed.
