Scope of work to replace gas line on property starting from meter throughout home as follows: -disconnected and removed all existing black iron piping from areas where it is accessible -drilled new holes in floor where new pipe will go through - ran all new 1”, 3/4” and 1/2 black iron pipe - installed all new fittings and made proper connections - installed all new 1/2” and 3/4” gas valves for a total of 2 valves - properly strapped black iron pipe in crawl space - ran 1" black iron pipe along outside side wall, secured it using unistraps and proper clamps. - continued to run 1" pipe on the roof for another 15' and reduced to 3/4" black iron pipe - ran 3/4" pipe from roof down into inside the home towards the furnace for approx 18' - supported roof pipe with 4x4 wood and proper straps - checked all connections - upon completion of install, we performed a 15 pound gas pressure test for 30 minutes to ensure proper hold of pressure. It passed. We will left line pressurized with air to finalize permitting process and schedule inspections. Upon completion of inspections Southwest gas will re-hook up gas meter to system.
