Issued
Type:
Residential Building - One or Two Family
Address:
5779 E 2ND ST
Apply Date:
04/20/2023
Applicant:
Heather McClaren
Description:
I want to do 2 things to my fencing. Right now I have wood slat fencing enclosing my backyard. I would like to: 1. Remove the wood slat fencing that lines the Alley and replace that side only with rusted corrugated steel fencing of the same height, 6 ft. 2. I would like to continue the back fence lines on the East and West side of my home to fully enclose the front yard as well. Instead of wood fencing it will be rusted corrugated steel fencing of the same height, 6 feet, and match the alley side fence line that I just replaced. The front fencing would stop a foot or so back from the sidewalk (on either side of the water meter whatever you and the contractor recommend) on the front, and include 2 gates for each side of my half circle driveway and one pedestrian door entrance. For now the gates would be manual and later on I may add solar or electric powered gates. So my entire yard would be enclosed then instead of just my backyard as it is now, in a mix of wood and rusted corrugated steel that matches in color with my cappuccino stained wood fencing in the back. It will look very nice.
