Permit Description: Interior minor electrical alteration within existing commercial fitness facility. Scope limited to: • One-for-one replacement of existing high-bay luminaires at existing locations utilizing existing branch circuits (no change in circuiting, overcurrent protection, or connected load). • Installation of decorative pendant lighting supplied by owner. • Extension of existing lighting branch circuit within ceiling space to feed new fixtures. • Installation of surface-mounted junction boxes, conduit, and conductors to serve new decorative lighting. • No service changes. • No panelboard modifications. • No feeder modifications. • No increase to connected load requiring recalculation. • Work limited to interior lighting branch circuitry only. All work to comply with the currently adopted National Electrical Code.
