Permit Description: The applicant constructed two carports (one on the south side of the property and one on north side of the property) and three sunshades on the west side (the front of the residence) without prior zoning approval and permits. The applicant is seeking zoning approval necessary to allow the construction to remain with reduced side and front street perimeter yard setbacks. If the DDO is approved, the front street perimeter yard setback would remain reduced from (20') to (6') and (16') as measured from the sunshades to the west lot line. The side perimeter yard setback would remain reduced from (6') to (5') and (1.5') as measured from the carports to the north and south lot line respectively, all as shown on the submitted site plans.
