Sign package may proceed to TRE process.

Address the following comments prior to sign permit /TRE issuance:

1) UDC 7A,
a) Understood new sign is to replace existing. Remove part of note on sheet 3 that states new sign is to be installed in same as existing – project scope has changed to a new location.
b) New sign to be setback 20’ – but is within right of way and a TRE application is pending.
c) Understood sign dimensions fit within the dimensions of the proposed TRE area.
d) Add note “digital sign maximum change rate of 1 x per minute, without animation”
e) Remove wall sign from packet, already permitted separately

2) NEC:
a) Sign is double sided EMC, revise sheet 4 from single face LED mount to wall to apply to monument sign conditions
b) Clarify if separate shut off switch to digital sign cabinetry (show if applicable)
c) Provide note on sheet 3, “power to sign to be provided by others via separate electrical permit.

3) OLC
a) Provide notations on sheet 3 that “digital signs to dim to a maximum light brightness of 200 NITS from sunset to midnight curfew”
b) Clarify how digital sign will dim and add note or diagram – ie. Photocell or timer
c) Add note that digital sign will be FCC compliant and add the make / model of the unit

4) IBC:
a) Provide note – “no field welds” (or provide engineering calcs for that & then needs special inspection)
b) Provide mount data for LED boards to sign cabinet
c) Revise footer diagram on sheet 4 to match engineering on sheet 5 for footer depth, understood oversized pipe provided
d) Provide note indicating how pole cover mounted to the sign structure / pole or cabinet
