The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area (FEMA Zone AE, Panel 04019C1720M, Tanque Verde and Fahringer Wash Floodplains) at 8721 E Woodland Road for the addition of a fenceThe applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit.The following conditions shall apply to this permit:1.All work shall conform to the attached plans (T21BU00179) which are made part of this permit.2.The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed or changed.3.The design hydrologist or other hydrologist of record must certify the fence is constructed in conformance with the approved plan and engineering report.4.The applicant will provide a certification by a registered surveyor that the fence is at least 5 feet from the property line as shown on the fence plans.5.Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties.6.This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development.7.Any future development of the site including any fences or patio walls to be constructed will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit.8.The fence shall be constructed and maintained as shown in the attached plans. The property owner will perpetually remove debris from the wash and the drainage openings in the fence.This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with.
